Have you lost yourself along the way?

I can help you.

To find out how to change your life, and be able to feel more comfortable with yourself, this journey of discovery will sometimes need understanding, empathic care, and skills to facilitate finding new ways to get on with your life with ease.

All of us will have had times when we have felt alone, lost, misunderstood, sad and confused. To confide in a friend or relative can be very difficult. By taking the brave step into the unknown by speaking to a trained therapist we can change the negative direction of our lives.

Sometimes it can seem as if finding out who you are, what you want, and how you can achieve it is like an impossible dream. To have the help of a caring person to support you can be a real benefit as you clarify the answers to your questions. This process can also guide you to look at new ways of dealing with life’s problems and getting to know yourself and your own abilities better.

No matter what is going on, or what you are thinking or feeling – it is not too late.

There is always potential to change.

About Me

My name is Stephanie Davidson. Like most adults I have had problems and experiences to deal with where I got “lost” along the way. Discovering how it is possible to change old ways of thinking and looking at life with the help and support of a skilled therapist allowed me to realise the habits I had developed which prevented me from getting on with my life in a more meaningful way.

Hypnosis is a deep feeling of relaxation and single-minded focus or awareness. It is like a daydream, or the natural trance reached through meditation.

Psychotherapy is a talking therapy that provides a secure environment for you to discuss your problems with someone who is trained to listen deeply in a non-judgemental way.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy

My training has included aspects of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) which focuses on how your thoughts, beliefs and attitudes affect your feelings and behaviour.
